Toyoda Gosei and Tokai Rika to Collaborate on Safety Systems

Plymouth and Troy, Michigan - February 3, 2003 -Toyoda Gosei Co. Ltd, and Tokai Rika Co., Ltd. (Japan) have agreed to collaborate globally for the development and testing of Safety Systems. TG North America, the North American headquarters of Toyoda Gosei and TRAM, Inc., the North American headquarters of Tokai Rika, will construct a facility in Plymouth, Michigan for a Hydraulic Reverse Crash Sled Accelerator which will have the ability to test driver / passenger / curtain / side airbags and seatbelts. The ground has already been broken for the building, which will be operational in August 2003. Negotiations are currently in progress to determine the details of the relationship.
